Description
Construction of High Flow Air Filter
Filter Media: Made from high-efficiency fiberglass, synthetic fibers, or polyester, the media is engineered to maintain excellent filtration performance even under high airflow conditions.
Pleated Design: The media is arranged in a pleated configuration to maximize surface area, enhancing dust-holding capacity and ensuring the filter can handle large air volumes with minimal pressure drop.
Reinforced Frame: Constructed from durable materials such as metal or high-strength plastic, the frame provides robust support, ensuring the filter remains stable and effective during use.
Support Grid: A support grid is integrated either internally or externally to reinforce the filter media, preventing collapse or deformation under high airflow conditions.
Sealant Strips: Located along the edges of the frame, these strips ensure a tight fit within the filtration system, preventing unfiltered air from bypassing the filter.

High Flow Air Filter vs. Medium Efficiency Pleated Filters
High Flow Air Filter Advantages
✔ Best for high-demand systems:
-
Large HVAC systems (>4000 m³/h)
-
High-pollution environments (welding, woodworking, chemical storage)
-
Applications requiring rapid air exchange
✔ Deep-pleat design benefits:
-
Extended filter media area (15-20 m²)
-
3-5x higher dust-holding capacity
-
Longer service life (6-12 months in harsh conditions)
Medium Efficiency Pleated Filter Advantages
✔ Best for cost-sensitive or space-limited applications:
-
Local exhaust systems
-
Areas with lower cleanliness requirements
-
Systems with pre-filtration (e.g., G4 pre-filters)
-
Compact installations (depth <500mm)
✔ Thin-profile benefits:
-
Lower initial cost
-
Easier/faster replacement (suitable for monthly changes)
